No open roles right now
The Nexclick has no advertised vacancies at present. When roles open they are listed on this page with the salary band stated up front. Speculative applications are read, and worth sending if you can show work rather than describe it.
What we look for
Evidence over vocabulary
- Something you built, ranked, fixed or shipped that you can talk through in detail — including the part that went wrong.
- The ability to write a sentence a client can understand without a glossary.
- Comfort saying "I do not know, I will find out" instead of guessing confidently.
- A view on your own field that you can defend. Disagreeing with us in an interview is not a problem.
How hiring runs
Three conversations, no unpaid work
- A 30-minute call to work out whether it is worth either of us continuing.
- A longer technical conversation about work you have already done — we do not set unpaid take-home tasks or ask for spec work.
- A paid half-day working on something real, if both sides still want to proceed.
- A decision within a week of that, either way, with a reason.
Speculative applications
Send it anyway
If you work in search, web development, paid media, AI engineering or design and want to be considered when something opens, email info@thenexclick.com with links to work you are proud of. A short note about one specific thing you fixed beats a two-page covering letter.
The Nexclick is based in London and works with people remotely across the UK. Location is not a filter.
Not looking for a job?
If you landed here by accident and you are actually after help with a website, a campaign or an AI project, that call is on the other side of this button.
